How can Nature-based Solutions (NbS) accelerate climate action while advancing the implementation of global biodiversity and land restoration commitments?
Join the ENACT Partnership at UNFCCC COP31 for a high-level convening exploring how integrated, nature-based approaches can translate global ambition into action on the ground.
The event will welcome new ENACT partners and look ahead to opportunities for greater collaboration across the Rio Conventions, including the road to COP32 and the advancement of integrated global climate and nature goals.
The event will also feature the launch of the ENACT 2026 State of Nature-based Solutions Report, presenting a global assessment of NbS integration across national policy frameworks under the Rio Conventions. Drawing on the report’s findings and country experiences, participants will explore opportunities to strengthen policy coherence, mobilise finance and scale implementation across climate, biodiversity and land restoration priorities.
The session will also mark the official launch of the Nature for Resilience (N4R) Project, a flagship initiative supported by Denmark and coordinated under ENACT to advance NbS and ecosystem-based adaptation across Sub-Saharan Africa. Through high-level remarks, country perspectives and practical insights, the discussion will highlight how partnerships can strengthen institutional capacity, support nationally led action and accelerate investment in climate resilience.
